Overview

The Role: Are you passionate about Chemistry and committed to inspiring the next generation of scientists? We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Chemistry to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across a range of programmes, working with both 14–19 learners and adult students to support them in achieving their academic and career goals.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in Chemistry across various levels
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
  • Engage with employers and external agencies to enhance student opportunities
  • Participate in college-wide initiatives, including safeguarding and equality and diversity
Who you are / Qualifications
  • You will hold a degree in Chemistry or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification.
  • You have a proven track record of successful and innovative teaching in Science and a student-centred approach that inspires and motivates learners.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; you are committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement to keep your teaching engaging, relevant and impactful.
