We're looking for a passionate and highly motivated Chef de Partie to join the team at The Clerk&Well. About Us. The Clerk&Well has established itself as one of Farringdon's best local Pubs and is part of First Restaurant Group Pub and Rooms site. Our menu is predominantly English & Modern European and focuses on delivering classic brasserie dishes using fresh ingredients.

Chef de Partie responsibilities:

  • Runs a specific section in a kitchen, reporting to the Sous Chef.
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the section.
  • Placing orders, receiving goods, and storing them safely.
  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing dishes.
  • Preparing meat and fish.
  • Assisting with health and safety management.
  • Supporting food hygiene practices.
  • Managing and training Commis & Demi chefs, serving as a role model.
  • Monitoring portion sizes and waste control.
  • Overseeing kitchen and food safety standards.

We require a minimum of 3 years of experience as a CDP. This is a full-time position with an immediate start.

Job details:

  • Type: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
  • Salary: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Sunday with 2 days off, 40 hours/week
  • Benefits: Wagestream, referee bonuses
  • Starting immediately
