This temporary position provides a competitive pay rate of £12.21 per hour. You'll receive weekly payments, with holiday pay also being accrued. As a temporary worker, you have the flexibility to pick shifts that suit you, with no minimum commitment required. In your role, you will assist the chef with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and ensure food safety is always a priority. You will also work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
We\'re looking for candidates who have at least 6-12 months of experience in a similar role, ideally within a care home or education environment. A valid PVG or Disclosure is required, which you should currently hold or be willing to obtain. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are key attributes. You will be passionate about service excellence, committed to cleanliness and hygiene, and capable of managing tasks efficiently even in high-pressure situations.
