Salary - Daily rate of pay from 60 1 days pay for every 10 days worked Annual Tax Free Bonus upon completion of Training

Hours per week - 2 hours on Tuesday Evenings Some weekends

Contract type - Voluntary / Zero Hours

Do you have a passion for cooking and teamwork? Want to develop your culinary skills while serving your country part-time 39 Signal Regiment part of the Royal Signals is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join as Chefs in the Army Reserve.

As a Chef in the Army Reserve you’ll play a vital role in keeping our soldiers fueled and ready for action. From preparing hearty meals in field kitchens to catering for large-scale exercises and events you’ll ensure the regiment is well-fed in any environment. This is a unique opportunity to combine your love of food with military training gaining qualifications and leadership experience that will enhance your civilian career.

What you’ll do :
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for soldiers in barracks and on operations.
  • Learn to cook in challenging environments using specialist equipment.
  • Support exercises and deployments across the UK and overseas.
  • Train alongside a professional team and develop leadership skills.
