Duties
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production and preparation
  • Execute menus to specification
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently met
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in line with health and safety regulations
Experience
  • Proven experience working in a professional kitchen setting
  • Strong culinary skills with the ability to cook and prepare a variety of dishes
  • Knowledge of food hygiene practices and health and safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with staff and management
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
