As a Chef at Sodexo in Nuffield Health Chester, Wrexham Road, Chester CH4 7QP, you’ll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals that support patient wellbeing and enhance the overall dining experience.You’ll be responsible for managing your own section of the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards.If you’re passionate about food, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a purpose-driven team — this is the role for you. What you’ll do:
Ensure all kitchen and food service areas are kept clean and well maintained
Report any faults or defects to the line manager and maintenance department
Produce fresh and tasty food on demand for patients, staff, and hospitality, following correct specifications and allergy requirements
Complete all Sodexo SMS paperwork (e.g., temperature logs, cleaning rotas, electrical checks, COSHH, HACCP, etc.)
Fill in drive information, ensuring menus are planned and allergen and calorie information is completed
Achieve desired results by driving service excellence and delivering quality, ensuring recipes and specifications are followed
Complete training using Sodexo GREAT training cards and undergo competency checks
Communicate appropriately with staff, following site rules
Comply with any reasonable requests from your line manager within the required time frame
Complete any reasonable requests from Nuffield within the required time frame
Comply with PPDS (Prepacked for Direct Sale) regulations
