The Business Process Outsourcing team acts as an extension of our clients’ finance teams, supporting their bookkeeping and compliance needs. We ensure timely and accurate reporting, providing a solid basis for clients to meet their tax and reporting obligations, benefiting society as a whole.

A look into the role

As a Business Process Outsourcing - Business Development Manager in our CFO Solutions Team, you will drive business growth by identifying and converting outsourcing opportunities. You will build internal and external networks to establish a pipeline of business and manage the proposal cycle from start to finish.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Building your network and relationships with key business development contacts within the firm, such as sector teams
  • Collaborating closely with our GT India colleagues
  • Leading client relationships through the proposal process
  • Supporting account management efforts to grow key targets and clients
  • Generating ideas for thought leadership and creating BPO brochures for external use
  • Maintaining proposal templates and up-to-date credentials lists
  • Educating teams across Grant Thornton about our BPO offerings and developing strong cross-line-of-service relationships

Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria for joining as a Business Process Outsourcing Associate Director are:

  • Experience in outsourcing
  • Excellent communication skills for managing client and delivery team relationships
  • Experience managing internal systems for business analytics and management
  • Proven ability to build key client and internal relationships to support growth
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior decision-makers
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work across diverse teams and cultures
  • A proactive, can-do attitude

It would be advantageous if you also had:

  • A professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA)
  • Experience in managing, coaching, or developing others
  • Successful sales and business development experience
