A healthcare institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a Patient Care Assistant responsible for providing various patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Candidates should have vocational training, a RI State Nursing Assistant license, and preferably over six months of job-related experience. This role involves assisting with personal hygiene, recording vital signs, and ensuring a safe environment for patients.
Responsible for performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services to care for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and observe all hospital policies and procedures.
