Overview

Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK, catering more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our “Fresh Food Policy” underpins our success and growth while supporting our site-based teams.

The Role

We are looking for a Supervisor who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food.

Job Details

• Exeter College
• £12.75 per hour
• 37 hours per week, 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – 37 weeks per year

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen and lead the team in delivering an efficient service to students while maintaining great customer service and high food safety standards.
• Support the management team in the smooth operation, ensuring all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously.
• Assist with training, recruitment, and working toward financial targets.
• Set a positive example for the team by delivering excellent customer service and by upholding the company’s reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Organised, hard-working and approachable leader; able to supervise day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults; enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.
