A leading healthcare organization in Burton upon Trent seeks a Catering Supervisor to lead the catering team. Responsibilities include overseeing patient meals and hospitality services alongside managing day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ in Supervisory/Management and good communication skills. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and offers development opportunities.
The post-holder will lead and supervise the catering team in the provision and delivery of all patient catering services with specific responsibilities for patient meals, retail, and hospitality in line with the NHS food review. You will be a supporting role to the team and be able to adapt to working within all areas of the department. We will support you in your own personal development.
Good communication, teamwork, and a flexible approach to working hours are essential to meet the needs of the department. The post may require weekend and Bank Holiday work.
