A local council in the United Kingdom is seeking a Catering Assistant to support the Cook in meal preparation and dining area preparation. As a Catering Assistant, you will support the Cook in preparing all food/meals for customers (and members of staff, where appropriate) in readiness for cooking or serving. You will also prepare the dining area and assist in serving food and drinks at mealtimes. We look for people who ensure that our customers have a high quality dining experience and always treat them with kindness, respect and compassion, fostering happiness and contentment.
Working 25 hours per week, from 8am – 2.30pm. No late nights or weekend working!
Work schedule (shifts not negotiable):
A basic Food Hygiene certificate is desirable, but not required. We will provide all training and support to give you the skills and confidence to care for our residents.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate at our cost.
