Driver Hire Basingstoke and Newbury are looking to recruit a number of Category B Drivers to help support our client in the Basingstoke area to deliver medical equipment and supplies to GP, Surgeries, Healthcare Units, Dentists and Hospitals in the Basingstoke and surrounding towns/villages.

Responsibilities

• Carry out designated duties in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks.
• Be reliable, polite, and friendly. Good customer service is vital as you will be the face of Driver Hire and our client.
• Have the ability to plan routes, and be able to use a Sat Nav system.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence, with at least 1 year’s experience.
• Previous commercial driving work would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Verifiable references.

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• £13.68 per hour (including holiday pay, basic rate £12.21ph) - enhanced rates apply for overtime and weekend working.
• Guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per day (full day). Start time approx 06:30 - 07:00 (dependent on route).
• Weekly pay during the temporary period.
