ABOUT US

18 Tipton Road provides a safe, nuturing, caring and stimulating environment for young people aged between 8 and 18 years who have complex needs and may be experiencing a range of difficulties including physical, sensory and moderate to severe learning disabilities or complex, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

THE ROLE

Hours: Casual (including sleeping in shifts and weekend working)

Salary: Grade 6

We are looking to appoint a Casual Residential Childcare Worker who will, under the supervision of a senior member of staff, contribute to all aspects of the physical, emotional and personal care of the child(ren) so as to promote their welfare whilst working in partnership with their family and other professionals.

Level 4 Diploma for Children's & Young People's Workforce or equivalent together with experience of working with young people desirable.

Hours of work will be offered to the successful applicant as required to meet the needs of 18 Tipton Road Children’s Home.
