Qualifications

  • Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • First Aid Qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient operation of the Gym under the supervision of the Gym Team Leader.
  • Carry out inductions on a one-to-one or small group session basis.
  • Deliver gym-based classes as per timetable.
  • Create and write personalised fitness programmes for individual members.
  • Proactively maintain the members’ database.
  • Promote the gym’s incentives, classes, and forthcoming events.
  • Help and assist members with questions and queries.
  • Ensure the gym and fitness equipment is kept clean and tidy.
  • Maintain fitness equipment and update the maintenance log.

Our ideal candidate!

Our ideal person will have a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (or equivalent) with relevant experience in a similar role.

What does the role involve?

  • Deliver gym‑based classes as per timetable
  • Create and write personalised fitness programmes for individual members

  • Promote the gym’s incentives, classes, and forthcoming events
  • Help and assist members with questions and queries
  • Ensure the gym and fitness equipment is kept clean and tidy as per the cleaning schedule
  • Maintain fitness equipment and update the maintenance log

This role will be based at Havant but will be expected to travel to other company sites as the need requires.
