A local government authority in Milton Heights is seeking a dedicated professional to provide day-to-day care for children with complex needs. The role involves collaborating with schools and therapists to ensure a holistic approach to care, making safeguarding decisions, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should possess strong communication and listening skills and ideally hold a Level 3 Diploma. Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this position.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day interaction and care of up to three children with a range of complex needs. You will work alongside children by helping them to achieve their specific individual needs and improving their future outcomes. You will apply relevant legislation, policies, procedures and guidance relating to residential childcare.
