A leading facilities management company is seeking a Catering Assistant to work in a busy retail café within a hospital. This position offers flexible hours primarily covering shifts during weekdays.

Days of Working: This role is to cover Holidays and sickness in the busy retail café within the hospital, Barista experience is an advantage. This is a flexible worker role, covering various shifts around a designated area. Typically shifts available are Monday - Friday to cover sickness and absence. Shift times will vary depending on the shift that requires covering at the time.
As a Catering Assistant in this retail environment, you will be serving staff and visitors with freshly prepared food and drinks, including specialty hot and cold beverages. You will keep stock displays replenished and ensure all areas are clean and tidy. Part of your job is to make sure crockery and cutlery are spotless and safely stored to avoid breakages. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with patients/students, visitors, and staff both in person and over the phone. You will also follow HACCP and food safety codes and monitor temperature control procedures. It’s a hands‑on role that keeps you busy and engaged with people.
