Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a DBS certificate.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Knowledge of health & safety in the workplace.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills necessary for record-keeping.
  • Physically fit, able to lift items up to 15 kg.
  • Confident communication skills with staff and public.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn.

Job description

To carry out collections on Pay & Display Machines Cash Boxes. To collect and deliver monies to all other external customers in accordance with their service level agreements.

Responsibilities
  • Meet client service requirements by collecting, delivering cash on behalf of customers
  • Ensure the standard operational procedures are adhered to and recommend improvements to enhance security
  • Comply with all SIA, Internal Safe Working Procedures, Assignment Instructions, and health & safety policies.
  • Safeguard operational equipment allocated for daily duties.
  • Maintain vehicle road‑worthiness before and after each shift; report defects to CVIT coordinator
  • Report all machinery faults identified during cash collecting/counting to the CVIT Team Leader
  • Work closely with CVIT colleagues to achieve all KPI’s
Essential Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a DBS certificate
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge and understanding of health & safety in the workplace
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills for accurate record‑keeping and incident reporting
  • Physically capable of lifting items up to 15 kg
  • Confident and assured communication skills with council staff, colleagues and members of the public (including spoken English or BSL interpreter)
  • Knowledge/experience of equalities and diversity issues
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer) and willingness to learn other applications
  • Multi‑drop or similar driving experience
