A prestigious art business in London seeks a Carrier Collections Coordinator responsible for coordinating the collection of property across multiple sites. The role requires impeccable attention to detail and strong communication skills to ensure an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include processing collection requests, liaising with clients and carriers, and reporting on availability. The Carrier Collections Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the collection of sold, unsold and unoffered property across multiple sites. With impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines, the Carrier Collections Coordinator will perform account checks, raise collection orders, process VAT refunds and liaise with clients and carriers to ensure a smooth collection experience. Working closely with Art Transport, Collections, Client Services and the wider Post Sale team, the Carrier Collections Coordinator will build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver exceptional client experiences to both internal and external clients.
Process collection requests, meeting deadlines and liaising with teams, including but not limited to; Post Sale, Art
Handle internal and external client enquiries
Raise collection orders and process Cashier’s tax refunds, liaising with Client Accounting, VAT and Compliance teams when required
Assist clients and Post Sale Coordinators with TA transfers and site transfers
Liaise with the warehouse teams and prepare Outlook calendars
Coordinate collection scheduling with third party warehouses and carriers
Provide daily reporting regarding availability and scheduling to relevant teams
Provide support to the Client Service Desk team, including last minute carrier collection requests and ad hoc in person desk cover
Strong awareness of overall business activities and ability to communicate relevant information
Provide support to Post Sale Coordinators with administrative tasks, client management and sale support when required
Collaborate with team members to effectively resolve issues in a timely manner
Assist with identifying process and IT improvements
Other duties as assigned by Manager

Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
Excellent IT skills (in Microsoft Excel and Outlook) and ability to learn Christie’s systems

Strong focus on excellent client services
Desire to learn and take on new challenges
Commitment to punctual attendance and excellent time keeping
Knowledge of and/or interest in shipping and logistics desirable

Christie’s Christmas office closure (guaranteed between 25th Dec – 1st Jan) – in addition to annual leave: almost two weeks to fully switch off and spend time with friends and family
