Job summary

A leading social housing contractor in Manchester is seeking a Carpenter for a permanent role. You will be responsible for 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, reactive maintenance in domestic properties, and locksmith duties. The ideal candidate will have a full driving license, with NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds preferred. Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Carpenter for a Perm role. Our client is a well-established, leading Social Housing Contractor and due to continued growth, is expanding its Repairs and Maintenance team. The business has continued to flourish over recent years and this new role is a great chance to be part of its exciting future.

The Role

Responsible for 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on domestic properties.

To provide reactive maintenance of domestic properties and communal areas.

Locksmith duties

To fault find and ensure satisfactory fault rectification.

To complete full installations and associated works.

To use a PDA to manage and record daily work.

Essentials
  • Full Driving License (company van provided with this role)
Desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 Carpentry or City and Guilds
  • Previous social housing experience
