Job Title and Location

Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Getinge UK Office Derby

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join us on a full-time permanent basis as a key member of our Quadralene Finance Department, working in conjunction with the Finance Assistant and Financial Controller.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Supporting the Financial Controller in the preparation of local financial and management accounts to include:
• Journals preparation and entry to the Financial System.
• Maintenance and processing of accruals and prepayments with input into the ERP system on time and accurately with full reconciliation.
• Inventory analysis and full understanding of the ERP system and variance analysis coding.
• Provide support to the Financial Controller on review and analysis of the financial performance of Quadralene by undertaking variance analysis with comparison to previous year to budget and forecast.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, review and code all CAPEX and process the monthly depreciation journal to the general ledger ensuring assets are reported in line with Getinge policies and NRV values.
• Support in budgeting and forecasting.
• Rebates and standard cost updates.
• Support at year-end with Financial Audit ensuring tasks are completed timely and accurately.
• Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

To ensure Quadralene's reporting to Group Finance is undertaken accurately and on time to month-end deadlines and in line with Getinge Group Finance rules. Provide support to the Financial Controller in the following areas:

• Close month-end within two working days, ensuring all transactions are posted accurately to the ERP system.
• Month-end reporting to timetable (Submissions 1-5).
• Preparation of the monthly finance review (MFR) presentation and assist with actions from the meeting.
• Preparation of the monthly sales data pack for distribution to the Financial Controller and Managing Director.
• Preparation of the monthly Dentisan sales pack and the marketing spend report for distribution to the Dentisan sales manager and managing director.
• Act as a business partner to provide financial and commercial support as required and work with the local Management Team to drive change in production and supply chain efficiency projects.
• Provide detailed analysis for budgeting and forecasting.
• Involvement in integrated margin calculations involving business partnering with Sales and a good understanding of integrated margin calculations and processes.

Additional:

• Provide cover to the Finance Assistant during sickness and holidays.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

Your skills and experience include:

• Experience of working in a fast-paced Finance Department within an SME company reporting.
• Experience of working in a Group structure as part of a subsidiary of a multinational company would be advantageous.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
• Experience with ERP system functions and financial systems with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP would be an advantage.
• Experience of working with and reporting in multiple currencies is desirable.

Qualifications

• Membership to a Professional Accounting Qualification (CIMA / ACCA) is desirable, but applications from candidates qualified by experience or part qualified will also be considered.
