Overview

Immediate start opportunities for Care Assistants looking for additional work hours while having the ability to choose when they work. The home provides care for residents aged 18-65, and as a Care Assistant you would provide a key role in the efficient running of the service.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care and daily activities, encouraging service users to remain as independent as possible.
• Complete relevant paperwork.
• Follow personalised care plans.
• Report any issues you may encounter.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar care environment.
• Checkable work history.
• Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training can be offered for an added fee.
• In-date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, the facility can arrange a new one for you.

Additional Information

• We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.
• This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role.
• You will typically work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 14:00.
• You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
