Qualifications

  • Experience in the delivery of care, especially with older people.
  • Good working knowledge of compliance within a care setting.
  • Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel.
  • A great listener with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to be decisive and remain calm under pressure.

Salary

£15.98 per hour

Hartrigg Oaks is a continuing care retirement community enabling people aged 60 plus to remain independent and live life to the full. The genuine sense of community and togetherness felt among our staff here is what makes it such a great place to work.

The role of Care Team Senior is to provide relationship centred leadership and direction to the care and ancillary team as a shift leader. You’ll also ensure a safe, effective, caring and well led service to our residents and their families.

About you
  • Experience in the delivery of care, especially with older people
  • Good working knowledge of compliance within a care setting, including safeguarding, incident reporting, medications management and health and safety
  • Ability to effectively use IT, including Outlook, Word and basic Excel
  • QCF/NVQ Level 2 (and be willing to work towards Level 3)
  • A great listener with excellent communication skills
  • The ability to be decisive and remain calm under pressure
