Job summary

A leading care organization in Poole is seeking a Care Team Leader to manage quality care delivery at their residential home. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, completed an NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, and be competent in medication administration. You will inspire your team and ensure that residents receive the highest standard of care. This role offers a pay rate of £14.15 to £15.35 per hour and includes various employee benefits.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Care Team Leader to join the team at Elizabeth House, our specialist residential and dementia care home, which overlooks the picturesque Canford Heath Nature Reserve in Poole, Dorset.

Who we are looking for

A natural leader within our caring profession!

We want someone who can make a positive impact on the lives of our residents – you’ll also need to be able to inspire and nurture your team to be at their best every day.

You’ll have completed an NVQ2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be fully competent in medication administration. Ideally you will also already be working toward achieving your NVQ3.

What you will be doing
  • Plan and manage delivery of quality care to our residents alongside a team of Senior Care and Care Assistants
  • Ensure your team are supported and have guidance throughout their shift
  • Administration of medication to residents
  • Liaising with external medical professionals and resident’s families
  • Ensuring resident care is delivered to the highest standards
