Job summary

A leading social care service provider is seeking a Bank Support Worker in Ashford to provide practical and emotional care for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The role involves working flexible shifts, supporting service users with daily tasks, and maintaining high standards of care. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a passion for working with vulnerable adults, and be working towards or hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. Competitive pay of £12.71 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
  • Willingness to complete training for NVQ in Health and Social Care.
  • Confidence to work alone or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individual support plans and activities.
  • Maintain communication with service users and families.
  • Support with meal preparation and cleaning duties.
  • Maintain accurate notes and records.
  • Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care.

Education
