Main duties of the job

As a Care Supervisor at Avery Healthcare, you will manage, support, and guide a small team within the Care Services team. You will ensure that Avery's processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards and that residents' choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activities. You will promote and deliver high‑quality person‑centred care, closely monitor and report on residents’ daily progress, and provide ongoing support for residents, their families, and the Care Services Team.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting and delivering high‑quality person‑centred care to residents.
  • Monitoring and reporting on residents’ daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded.
  • Addressing any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt, and appropriate manner.
  • Providing ongoing support for residents, their families, and the Care Services Team.
