A renowned care provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a professional Care Supervisor to join their team. This role supports the management of an independent living community for older people, ensuring high-quality standards of care. The ideal candidate will have excellent care skills, organizational abilities, and preferably a qualification in Health and Social Care. McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional Care Supervisor to join their team at their prestigious development, Kenton Lodgein Care Supervisor.
Gosforth is an affluent region with numerous shops and a large business complex. Our development will feature a bus stop directly outside for easy access to Gosforth town centre and Newcastle city centre.
This is not traditional care, this is better!
£13.56per hour day rate and £11.44sleeping night rate per hour plus additional pay (see below)
33.5 per week (includes day and night shifts)
Our day shifts vary between 08 : 45 and 16 : 30 or between 16 : 15 to 09 : 30.
Our night shifts are from 21 : 30 to 09 : 00am
Our Care Supervisors sleep between 23 : 00pm and 07 : 00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.
We are seeking a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for. You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
