ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced carer or senior carer with a passion to make a difference?

Can you lead a small team to deliver outstanding care to our residents, encouraging them to always do their best?

Our care teams make a real difference every day. Your professionalism, kindness, and compassion will be central to your work. Supporting the Home Manager and leading a team of carers, you'll plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. You'll review care plans regularly through continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You'll balance supporting your team and ensuring residents' wellbeing.

Located in Old Sarum, north of Salisbury, Avon Court and Bourne House are part of Avonbourne Care Centre, offering compassionate, individualised care in welcoming settings. Avon Court supports residents with dementia, with specially trained carers on hand.

ABOUT YOU

You should have previous experience in a residential care setting with an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or an NVQ Level 2 with willingness to study for Level 3. Supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential.

Key qualities include being a positive role model, with excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate others, and confidence in taking charge and resolving issues.
