Job summary

A community support organization is seeking an Independent Expert for their Care Committee to help direct and support care services for vulnerable adults and young people. Care Committee Member Independent Expert Do you have a passion to direct and support the provision of services for vulnerable adults and young people?

We are recruiting for a new Independent Expert for our Care Committee.

About Us At NCHA, we’re committed to delivering high‑quality care and support services that make a real difference to people’s lives. Our Care Committee directs and supports the delivery of NCHA’s Care and Support services to over 1,000 vulnerable adults and young people across the East Midlands.

About the Role Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 2 meetings in person, 2 via MS Teams)

Commitment: Minimum 4 meetings per year

Remuneration: £2,964 per annum paid quarterly

Reporting: Directly to the NCHA Board

Our Care Committee is made up of NCHA Board members and independent experts, who monitor our care and support services. Some of the activities of the Care Committee include but are not limited to:

  • Assessing our care and support services for quality assurance and regulatory compliance according to the Care Act 2014.
  • Reviewing and scrutinising policies, procedures and training programmes according to quality management and regulatory compliance.
