We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team on Days at The Poets, our flagship nursing home in Worthing, West Sussex.

Hours of work: 36 hrs per week, including alternate weekends

Responsibilities

• Providing high quality personal care, social interaction and stimulation to residents;
• Promoting independence and enablement and providing any support to the residents where necessary;
• Ensuring electronic residents personalised interactions are inputted on the system;
• Serving food and drinks to the residents and promoting social dining experiences;
• Developing relationships with relatives to help support you in understanding their needs and developing their personal care.

More about you:

• Ideally, youll have experience in the Healthcare sector, however we will provide you with all the training you need to be successful in the role;
