Overview

Care Assistant (Supported Living) – Based in Skipton

Salary: £12.41-£14 per hour

Waking Nights & Sleeping Nights Available 10pm-9.30am

DAYS: 9am-3pm, 8am-3pm and 3pm-10pm

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate support with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care—always with dignity and respect.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as preparing nutritious meals, light housekeeping, and occasional shopping to help maintain a comfortable home environment.
  • Support with medication routines, ensuring individuals receive the right help at the right time, with full training provided.
  • Offer meaningful companionship, bringing warmth, reassurance, and social interaction to brighten someone’s day.
Qualifications and qualities
  • Passionate about helping others; committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Reliable and honest team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for accurate record-keeping.
  • Previous experience in care, hospitality, retail, or customer service is welcomed but not essential—right attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Shared values: commitment to positive change, trust, professional excellence, and delivering personalised care.
Requirements and application
  • Right to work in the UK. We are currently unable to accept applications from individuals requiring a Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
  • Role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference verification.
