Job summary

A respected care charity in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Care Assistant. This role involves providing support and care to residents while ensuring their dignity and independence. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support residents while maintaining independence, privacy, and dignity.
  • Assist residents with morning and evening routines.
  • Help residents with dressing, bathing, and using the toilet.
  • Aid residents with mobility issues and personal care.
  • Promote Greensleeves Care values of respect, openness, and responsibility.

Job description

Hours: Full time hours available (36 hrs or 48 hrs)

Shifts: 8pm to 8am (12 hours) per shift working every other weekends

As a Care Assistant, you will:
  • Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice
  • Assist with preparing residents for bed and/or assist them in the morning.
  • Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
  • Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
  • Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
  • Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care -Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
