Overview

This role as a Care Assistant provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day, delivering high standards of personal care in a caring and supportive environment.

Job responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas in residents (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
  • Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

  • Be an efficient worker who can carry out reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
