Overview

As a Care Assistant, you'll visit clients in their own homes, supporting them to live independently, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same—your role will be varied, meaningful, and deeply rewarding. You'll build trusted relationships while helping with daily routines, mobility, meals, and social support.

  • Supporting daily routines such as washing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Assisting with mobility needs, including transfers, walking aids, or hoists (where required)
  • Preparing meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs or preferences
  • Assisting with shopping, running errands, or collecting prescriptions
  • Helping clients keep their home tidy, safe, and welcoming
  • Reducing loneliness by supporting clients to enjoy hobbies, activities, or a chat over a cup of tea
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, walks, or community outings to help them stay active and connected
  • Keeping in regular contact with the office team, ensuring everyone is updated and working together to deliver the best care
Requirements / What You'll Need
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle – you'll be travelling between client visits
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Good spoken and written English skills for communicating with clients and documenting visits
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
