Job Description

Home Instead Hemel Hempstead and Chilterns are currently seeking compassionate and caring individuals to join our valuable team as a Care Assistant. We are recruiting for Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas including Berkhamstead, Tring, Bovingdon, Kings Langley and Princes Risborough. Our Care Assistants will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within their homes. Previous social care isn't vital but full right to work in the UK and access to your own vehicle is essential. We understand work life balance and offer a range of shift timings throughout mornings, evenings and weekends. Night shifts and Live In Carer opportunities also available.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting residents with mobility
  • Helping with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Running errands such as food shopping and collecting prescriptions

Qualifications

No qualifications or experience are required as all full training is provided. All new Care Professionals must undergo Care Professional Assessment training, which is held at our offices in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead. All Our Care Pros are required to work alternate weekend hours.

It is essential that you have the following:

- Caring personality to support our clients.

- Have a good level of written and spoken English.

- A full driving licence and access to your own car and business class one insurance.

- Right to Work in the UK

- Please note that as a company, we do not have a Sponsorship Licence. Therefore if you are looking for a Sponsorship/Skilled Worker Visa or are on one and looking for a switch, we are unable to assist you at this time.
