Responsibilities

  • Assist people using the service with physical tasks, including dressing, washing, bathing, and assistance with meals.
  • Encourage and assist individuals or groups with social and therapeutic activities offered by the service.
  • Enter clear and accurate details of incidents and events in appropriate records and provide verbal reports to senior staff before leaving duty.
  • Update and maintain care plans and risk assessments in collaboration with senior staff and the individuals using the service.
  • Undertake duties in accordance with the Directorates Health and Safety Policy, including safe lifting and moving following appropriate training.

We are working closely alongside with a local authority in Worcestershire t to assist with the appointment of a Care Assistant on a 2.5 -months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.45 - £16.06 per hour

Summary:

The Care Assistant (Support Worker) provides essential care and support to adults with various care needs to help them achieve maximum independence. Operating within a "Can Do Culture," the post holder is responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive services that uphold the dignity, rights, and choices of every individual. This frontline role involves both personal care and social support, requiring a proactive individual who can work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team while maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist people using the service with physical tasks, including dressing, washing, bathing, and assistance with meals.
