Your focus as a Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Main duties

As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect. You will also recognize and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident, and practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
