Care assistant role and responsibilities

Every client is different, so there’s plenty of variety, but your Care Assistant role may include the following:

• Spending time with clients
• Going on trips or accompanying clients to appointments
• Assisting with personal care
• Providing support with medication
• Helping with housework
• Preparing meals
• Going shopping with or for clients

Ideal skill set
