Overview

As a Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will support with all aspects of daily living. With visits always at least 1 hour long, there is plenty of time to get to really know your client. You will provide valuable companionship to those who may be lonely, support with washing and dressing, help with mobility in and outside the client's home, medication support, meal preparation and light home help tasks. Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired. We do require an alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday).

Working pattern

We support clients throughout the day, starting from 6:45am and ending at 9:45pm and we can offer you hours to work for you - whether this is mornings, evenings or a mixture of mornings & evenings. We believe outstanding care starts with exceptional people.

Responsibilities
  • Support with daily living tasks, companionship, washing and dressing, mobility assistance, medication support, meal preparation and light home help.
Qualifications
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
  • Alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday) required
