Overview

Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Hinckley House Care Home in Hinckley. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives, with a close-knit, supportive team and a focus on delivering high standards of personal care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, supporting independence, dignity and respect at all times.
  • Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
  • Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
About the Role

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Shift Details: 07.45 to 20.00 on a rota to include alternate weekends.
