Job Description:

Activequity is a specialist firm providing active support and equity solutions that enhance global market access for European premium wine producers. We are delighted to open this opportunity for an ambitious financial services, investor relations or investment advisory professional in the earlier stages of their career to join our experienced team where there is a lot of opportunity to broaden your private equity experience while working on an extraordinary and distinctive opportunity in the premium wine sector.

Working closely with senior partners in the firm, you will be part of a highly focused team tasked with researching, evaluating, and contacting vineyards, domaines, and other estates involved in the production of premium wine. An excellent knowledge of premium wine production regions is essential. Previous experience working with wine producers and first hand experience of their business is highly desirable.

This opportunity takes the form of an initially fixed term engagement with a modest base salary and a highly generous performance commission based remuneration structure. Following this, there are excellent opportunities for progression to a permanent position. We are looking for ambitious professionals at an early stage of their career who thrive on targets and accountability to deliver as part of a highly organised programme over the next 4-5 months. Earning potential is very significant given the expectations and dedication required. We are happy to provide further details during the selection process.

The successful candidate will be based in UK and available to start immediately. The position will mainly be based remotely (home based working) with in-person team meetings every couple of weeks in either Oxford or London. As the position will require research and interaction with persons across Europe, it is essential that you must speak German and French (additional European languages are also desirable).
