It is seeking to hire an Associate or Senior Associate with at least 2 years' PQE to join its Structured Finance team. They have a reputation for complex cross-border execution, especially where regulatory regimes differ and due to the technical nature of the work this represents a fantastic opportunity to work in close proximity to Partners on deals; and to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Advise banks, corporates, fund-sponsors, sovereigns and other financial institutions on complex financing, capital markets and debt-related transactions.
• Work across debt capital markets offerings: issuances of investment-grade, high-yield, convertible and exchangeable debt; medium-term note (MTN) and European MTN (EMTN) programmes; bonds, sukuk (Islamic finance) and other structured debt instruments.
• Handle cross-border and multi-jurisdictional issuances and funding structures, including emerging and frontier markets, social housing and covered-bond programmes.
• Advise on structured finance and securitisation matters: asset-backed securitisations (ABS), warehouse facilities, receivables portfolios (consumer loans, SME loans, leases, mortgages) and derivatives or hedging aspects linked to securitisations.
• Provide advice on liability-management transactions (e.g., consent solicitations, tender/exchange offers) and regulatory capital-related debt (e.g., Tier 1/AT1 instruments).
• Act for borrowers, issuers, arrangers, dealers, trustees and service providers across the financing lifecycle—origination, structuring, negotiation, documentation, treasury strategy.
• Bring global coverage and integrated advice: combining finance, regulatory, tax, real-estate, restructuring, and other adjacent practices to support clients' financing, treasury and investment needs.
• Provide counsel on bank lending, syndicated debt, acquisition finance, treasury/capital structure and complex instruments (derivatives, structured products) for both borrowers and lenders.

The team operates across a breadth of sectors with a particular strength in advising clients across financial services, real estate/real-asset investment, private equity / credit funds, sovereign/state clients, emerging markets, social housing and other specialised bond markets.
