A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom seeks a dedicated individual to monitor cancer pathways and support patient management. The ideal candidate will have significant NHS experience, exceptional data entry and database management skills, and a strong focus on patient care. Responsibilities include tracking patients, organizing MDT meetings, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in patient experiences and outcomes within a supportive team environment.
The post holder will be responsible for monitoring cancer pathways across a range of specialties, ensuring that all patients are effectively tracked throughout their treatment journey. You will proactively identify and escalate delays to relevant clinical and managerial colleagues, challenging processes where necessary, to support the achievement of national cancer targets. You will update and maintain patient records on relevant cancer systems. In addition, the post holder will organise and prepare for regular MDT meetings across multiple cancer sites/specialties. Collate and distribute relevant clinical information (e.g., pathology, radiology, clinic letters) ahead of meetings. Ensure accurate and timely recording of MDT discussion outcomes in line with Trust policies and national standards. Attend MDT meetings and act as the key administrative support, taking live minutes and undertaking any actions.
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual with significant NHS experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data entry, database and spreadsheet management, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. As a committed team member, you will bring a flexible approach and a positive, "can-do" attitude to your work. You will be comfortable working within a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team and will play a key role in coordinating meetings and supporting the effective management of cancer patient pathways.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and committed to ensuring our cancer patients have the smoothest journey possible. Your contribution will directly support improved patient experiences and outcomes.
