Your Role in our Mission

Our mission is to make the world a better place to work, and to help us achieve this mission we are looking for a dynamic fast‑paced cafe manager to lead our in‑house office cafe on a part‑time basis in the heart of our London office. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced cafe manager who loves high standards, energetic service, and is ready to apply their skills in a modern people‑first office environment. It is a 20 hours per week role, based onsite in our Dean Street office.

The full‑time equivalent (FTE) salary for this role is £30,000–£35,000 per annum.

The role supports employee wellbeing, collaboration and productivity and involves carrying out a range of kitchen duties, including preparing basic food items and orders, managing stock orders, and operating barista coffee machines.

What You’ll be Doing:
  • Responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the cafe, ensuring it effectively meets the needs of our London office
  • Providing excellent customer service, creating a rapport with all employees
  • Adhering to and ensuring the cafe meets statutory and company requirements in Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation and procedures
  • Compiling orders, production and delivery of large quantities of pre‑ordered lunches
  • Planning and presenting food to high standards
  • Ensuring the cafe achieves the financial targets in line with the budget
  • Maintaining and recommending renewal/replacement of equipment when required
  • Promoting and encouraging environmental improvement initiatives within the business
  • Keeping the location tidy and clean to a high standard with the cafe well stocked
Experience and Skills You Need in this Role:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a recognised Food Safety Certificate
  • Previous experience of food ordering, deliveries and stock management
  • Track record in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety with working knowledge of safe working practices, including food temperature checks, food quality and food legislation
  • Excellent customer service
  • Budgeting experience, food planning and waste control
