Overview

REED Engineering have partnered with an innovative access solutions business in the Edinburgh area who are seeking a CAD Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a varied role combining engineering CAD design, client interaction, site visits, quotations and internal collaboration to successfully deliver temporary works projects.

Responsibilities

• Drawing of temporary works solutions through the use of AutoCAD & Inventor mainly
• Site visits and online meetings to discuss client requirements
• Pulling together of quotations

Qualifications

• Candidate who has a strong background in using AutoCAD and/or Solidworks (Essential)
• Full, clean driving licence
• An interest in industrial projects - this role would not suit a candidate looking to pursue a career in Architecture
• A genuine willingness to contribute to the success of the business through team working, adaptability and hard-work
• Any previous client facing duties in a previous role would be of interest
