Overview

Are you looking for a new challenge in a Buying role and looking for a career within the Buying space. We have an exciting fixed-term opportunity to join our Logistics team as a Buyer's Administrator looking after our Distribution Centre. This is an on-site fixed-term opportunity of 6 months.

This role provides vital support to the company’s Distribution Centre teams & Buying and Merchandising by performing all administrative tasks relating to the smooth flow of product and purchase orders (POs) through the DC, including error stock and returns to supplier.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Buying, Merchandising and Distribution Centre teams by ensuring the smooth flow of products and purchase orders through the business.
  • Manage product data and SKUs within D365, raise and track orders, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve stock and PO issues.
  • Analyse error stock trends, support the return-to-vendor (RTV) process, and provide accurate reporting and insights to help prevent future issues.
  • Build strong relationships with internal colleagues, suppliers and finance teams to keep processes efficient and compliant.
  • Resolve issues quickly and ensure products move efficiently through the supply chain.

  • Able to work under time pressure to prioritise, make decisions and meet deadlines.
  • Highly numerate and IT literate – especially in Excel.
  • Good at communicating and building relationships.
  • Good financial and analytical skills - trend identification and risk management critical.
  • Innovative and uses initiative.
  • Good commercial awareness of the industry.
