Job description

Quest Search & Selection are looking for a Buyer Non-Food to drive the commercial buying strategy across a diverse and fast-growing portfolio, and key categories such as gifting, toys, and everyday essentials . You will curate product ranges that excite customers, develop strong supplier relationships, and support category growth through strategic commercial decisions and creative thinking.

The company is rapidly growth, to bringing both global brands and local favourites to millions of customers every year. With recent major wins and a significant new store launches planned next year, with travel & centre retailing now is an exciting time to join the team.

Responsibilities as a Buyer Non- Food include:
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure top-quality products, competitive pricing, and strong partnerships
  • Lead the buying and range strategy for multiple category and ranges
  • Optimise range, pricing, and promotions to boost sales, margins, and customer satisfaction.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to launch new brands and concepts.
  • Track market trends and performance data to identify opportunities and guide strategy.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability in product selection and sourcing
To be successful in this Buyer Non -Food position you must have:
  • Ideally having 3-5 years + experience in retail, FMCG, supermarket, or wholesale.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail buying, category management, or procurement, preferably within souvenir,Gifting, toys, travels accessories/essential is highly desirable
  • Extensive experience within branded buying & supplier negotiations
  • Skilled in negotiation, supplier management, and data-driven analysis.
  • Commercially minded, able to balance creativity with profitability.
  • Experienced in managing both branded and private-label portfolios.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
