Job Description
- Support and manage sourcing events aligned to the Annual Procurement Plan and ad-hoc business requirements
- Act as the first point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders on sourcing and contract queries
- Support contract management activities to maximise value and manage supplier performance
- Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) ensuring supplier competence and accreditation
- Promote and ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and governance
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement systems and initiatives (e.g. SRM tools)
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procurement policies and processes
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrable procurement experience and / or MCIPS qualification with practical, end-to-end tendering experience
- Strong commercial awareness with a sound understanding of contract terms and supplier management
- Good working knowledge of EU procurement regulations and best-practice processes
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence and support at pace
- Proactive self-starter with strong ownership and accountability
- Experience using procurement systems and ERP platforms (ideally SAP S / 4, Ariba or similar)
