Client:
Our client is a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. They carry out a range of fit-out projects across various sectors including commercial, hotels, luxury residential and specialist joinery projects.

They are looking for a Buyer to join them to support procurement activities, playing a key role in sourcing goods and services efficiently, within budget and timescales, ensuring best value from their approved supply chain.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement of materials and services to meet project needs
  • Analyse stock/requisition data to optimise purchase orders
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and service level agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and mitigate risks
  • Support the implementation of ISO and industry-compliant procurement practices


The Ideal Person:

  • Construction related Degree or other relevant qualifications
  • Track record working in procurement
  • Experience working on fit out projects is ideal
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience using computerised purchase ordering systems
  • Self motivated
  • Team player, good communication and organisational skills
