A leading procurement company in Aberdeen seeks a Buyer to manage procurement activities, liaise with clients offshore, and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a business degree or be CIPS qualified, alongside strong negotiation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office. This role offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to the procurement process and enhance client satisfaction.
Job function/Scope:
The successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of procurement related activities against clients requirements and contracts, including liaising with clients both onshore and offshore to ensure their needs are met and that supply of goods and services are to their satisfaction.
A proven record in procurement is essential with particular emphasis on sourcing of “one off purchases” to add value for all parties. Good customer skills and motivation to make a difference with a team.
