A leading healthcare provider in Scotland is seeking a Business Support Supervisor to oversee administrative services and support staff. The role requires strong experience in administration and office procedures, with advanced computer and organizational skills. Candidates must have qualifications equivalent to HNC or SVQ in Administration, along with at least three years of relevant experience. The job is on-site, offering a vital support role in ensuring efficient patient care and operational management.

The shift pattern for this post are Monday to Thursday (8.30am - 4.30pm Friday (8.30am - 4pm)

As part of the Business Support Team, The Business Support Supervisor will provide a support role in the administration of all services and operational requirements of the defined area of responsibility which may include one or more community health locations.
The postholder will provide day to day supervision to allocated business support staff and caretaking staff. The postholder will provide support in the day to day management of a number of sites within the sector, ensuring a safe environment for patients, contractors and staff.
The staff supervised by the postholder provide support to the business support function, nursing, AHPs and other services within the community bases. The postholder implements and maintains administrative services and systems to ensure effective delivery of patient care. The post holder strives to ensure that the service provided is easily accessed, efficient and effective, localised patient centred delivery of care.
The postholder will be the first point of contact for administrative services within the accommodation and will have delegated responsibility for certain budgets relating to equipment and furnishings. The postholder will support the manager in resolving operational issues that arise across the services that use the building and for resolving the issues with the relevant services e.g. General Practice, Pharmacy, Dental etc.
